When you look around, see examples and events and hear the news from all over the World, one can only conclude that (yet again) a new form of slavery is developing everywhere around us... The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, whilst the middle class is melting away... paving the way for the New World... where less than 1% will own 90% of wealth and power... and your lives... you will work for them, and your children... and grandchildren... unless we all do something about it globally... together, as one voice...
Sadly, 99% of the people are not doing anything about it...

Lost in Translation ... still one of my favourite films

Lost in Translation was and still is one of my favourite films of all times. Having said that, it is not for everyone, as its funny and endearing side can be discovered only if you are on the same wavelength or if you have enough patience. It would only seem a bit slow, but this film is actually a hugely rewarding masterpiece to the right audience. The acting is both genuine and superb, and the chemistry between Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson works so well in the unique atmosphere of this film, adding to its many good qualities. Will they or won't they - is the question that persists through the film. Two people meet by chance and the rest is just pure magnetism, but very special like you haven't seen before. In the very short space of time, they get to feel something that they did not ever get from their partners, or have not experienced ever in life (since BC) ... but in a very pure, innocent way.

Ah, and the last scene of the film. The farewell scene. The final goodbye.

Probably one of the best 'silent' goodbye scenes I've ever seen. But you cannot see why only from the clip (above). You will understand why I say that only if you see the whole movie. The last 'goodbye silent whisper' scene conveys the sense of friendship, romantic magnetism, painful loss but also with good feelings of something precious, delicate, special, that will seemingly last forever. The way this film was made, acted, produced, and the story - fascinates me. I've seen it many times, and every time I see it, again, I find something in it very personal to me.

This film is simply unique and in the best possible way, endearing and moving at the same time.
